how to have a perfect thursday afternoon on the UES:
1) crafty ceramics date at Make (3rd ave @ 84th)- I made her a little multi-patterned trinket box, she made me a killer (complete with painted blood-splatter) unicorn statuette.
2) lunch at Cascabel Taqueria (2nd ave @ 80th)- pomegranate-hibiscus margarita, cangrejo y maiz frito (mexican crab-cakes), and two pescado tacos.
3) ice cream from Emack and Bolio’s (1st ave @ 81st)- we both got the Deep Purple Cow (black raspberry ice cream with white and dark chocolate chunks.) freezing, but worth it.
